'The True Martial Way' is an original family musical that fuses Chinese martial arts with captivating melodies.  Guided by the core principle of "integrating martial arts into music and filling the heart with music", the performance presents touching tunes, striking martial arts scenes and a warm and humorous plot to convey the traditional Chinese wisdom of "ending conflict through martial arts and valuing harmony above all".  The performance showcases martial arts that balance strength with grace, strength with softness, blending music and dance to illustrate the harmony between the philosophies of power and compassion.  The music integrates traditional Chinese music with modern arrangements, featuring uplifting martial fight scores as well as tender parent-child duets which resonate with audiences of all ages.  It is a feast for the senses, a carrier of cultural essence, and an educational yet entertaining production for the enjoyment of the whole family.

The project is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series. The LCSD has all along promoted Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public learn more about broad and profound Chinese culture.
