Authentic cultural experiences | Turning Yuen Long into your cultural playground

Presented by The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection (AFTEC), the award-winning NGO, and sponsored by LCSD, Cultural Playground@Yuen Long is a new initiative that blends arts, history and culture into travel.  The project features a wide range of arts and cultural experiences, from promenade theatre along a heritage trail, visual-auditory explorations in a wetland, to performing and visual arts happenings across Yuen Long, as well as a collection of community stories that celebrates the district's rich human tapestry.

Whether you are a local resident or a first-time visitor, Cultural Playground@Yuen Long will offer you fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of Yuen Long.  Join us on this journey of new discoveries.  Programmes include Wayfinders Collection, Ping Shan Living Theatre, Echoes of the Wetland, Creative Lab@Yuen Long, Community Story Challenge, Legacy Reels and From Page to Stage® to Community: Journey to the West.  Also, the Cultural Playday@Yuen Long Theatre will be held at Yuen Long Theatre on 27-28 March 2027.  Admission is free, and members of the public are welcome to join.  Please refer to the website of The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connecction for more details of the programmes.
