The project integrates psychology into Cantonese opera, innovatively designing an engaging and enlightening "Cantonese Opera Psychosomatic Therapy" that guides participants to experience the appeal of Cantonese opera and feel its dynamic energy.  Within the hustle and bustle of urban life, it helps release mental and physical stress, regulate emotions, and relieve pain and discomfort.  It integrates art into the everyday experience, carrying the full spectrum of life's joys and sorrows, thereby sparking public interest in Cantonese opera.​

The project is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series.  The LCSD has all along promoted Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public learn more about broad and profound Chinese culture.  For more information, please visit www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/ccpo/index.html.
