PAT01 | "Play with Chinese for Junior Secondary Students II" Guided Appreciation and Performance by Class 7A Drama Group (In Cantonese) (Completed)

Class 7A Drama Group has been established for more than 20 years. It is a professional drama group supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. The company is reputed for producing simplistic yet heart-warming plays with a message based on quality scripts. It is also one of the pioneers that intergrates drama with teaching. Interpretation of Classical Chinese Literature through Drama, for example, has been produced multiple times. The programme enables students to learn about classical Chinese literature in action.

Kongming Borrowing Arrows is a famous chapter in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms loved by students and teachers alike. The Peach Colony is an excellent choice for beginners of classical Chinese literature as it delves deep with simple-to-understand language. Planting Pears features imaginative writing and contents. Applying flexible and diverse stage performance approaches, the company adapted these three very different stories from classical Chinese literature and transformed them into drama performances. It is hoped that students will not only gain further exposure and broadened horizons, but also become more interested in classical Chinese literature.
