PAD01 | Swan Lake (excerpts) by Hong Kong Ballet* (In Cantonese) (Completed)

As part of the celebration of Hong Kong Ballet's 40th anniversary, the curtain will rise on the return of the Company’s beloved ballet classic Swan Lake by John Meehan after Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov.

Filled with technically and emotionally challenging choreography, Swan Lake fuses reality and fantasy with its lyrical pas de deux, ethereal swan maidens and timeless love story. All eyes will be on the bewitching prima ballerina performing the dual roles of the pure White Swan Odette and the scheming Black Swan Odile. With spectacular sets and costumes by the late award-winning designer Peter Farmer and Tchaikovsky's iconic score, Swan Lake will sweep you off your feet!

Remark: The presentation of this excerpt from Swan Lake will take the form of a rehearsal with a short programme introduction. It may briefly pause at times if necessary.
