From folk dance, court dance to modern dance, every dance genre comes with different historical meanings. Music is inseparable, giving great value to dance. Different music styles have various types of beats and rhythm, which correspond to the specific dance styles. Music reinforces the rhythmic articulation of body movements and strengthens the choreographic structures.

The Music Office Instructors’ String Orchestra will perform notable dance pieces in this concert, including Ballet, Waltz, Tango, and Modern dance, and lead everyone to dance with strings!
